But his data failed twice. In this sequence he observed the shape of the Hydra. Hydra’s body is tubular in shape. But it is elongated in shape. Research has also shown that the hydra’s body has two layers. The outer layer is called ectoderm and the inner layer is called endoderm.
Hydra’s body is constantly making new cells. Also, both layers are attached to non-living tissue. This is called mesoglea. Hydra’s original body is made up of stem cells. There are fewer particles.
