In India Railways has increased Speed. In a week not only Railways are Inaugurating 2 Vande Bharath Express trains but also they are getting ready for Bullet Rail Project. For the Mumbai Ahmadabad Bullet Train Project the railways are getting ready to construct a Railway Station in the bottom of the sea.
The project is being executed by a special purpose vehicle named National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL)with both financial and technical assistance from the Japanese government. The project is estimated to cost Rs 1,08,000 crores.
Bullet Train Project : The Construction of the Mumbai – Ahmadabad High Speed Railway Corridor is going in full swing. As a part of this the railways has revealed in a program the designs of Bandra-Kurla Complex, Thane Virar and Boisar Railway Stations. It is the Country’s First Bullet Train Project. They are calling it Mumbai – Ahmadabad High Speed Railway Corridor (MAHSR) /Mumbai – Ahmadabad Bullet Train Project. The works of this project are going in Full speed.
The slides and design related to the Bandra kurla complex has been released now. This time the full set of the slides has been released. The design of the four stations of the corridor has been taken inspiration from the clouds and sea waves. So if see the stations clouds and waves will be remembered.
For the construction of the Mumbai – Ahmadabad Railway Station Project the Bandra-Kurla station will be constructed in the Sea-Bed. The construction of the underwater Railway Station in the seabed will be the first of the railway station in India and they are using special technology for the construction of the Railway Station.
The station will be constructed 24 meters deep in the sea. The station will be in three levels, platform, concourse and service floor. The construction of the station is being going on in Vikroli.
The project manager U.P.singh has responded ” The construction of the stations will be 24 meters deep in the sea below the ground level and 6 platforms will be constructed. In these stations there will be station comforts and passenger comforts.
