Launch of smart vision glasses with AI technology for the blind
A private hospital has launched smart vision glasses with AI and machine learning technology to give new hope to the visually impaired as well as the blind. These vision glasses are lightweight and have AI/ML technology along with camera and sensor features to assist users.
These glasses can project images, assist in walking, and have face regression capabilities. A smart earpiece that can read and understand is also provided to the users. Additional features such as voice assistance and GPS navigation help users detect any obstacles in the way they walk.
Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital has launched this wearable device in collaboration with Vision Aid India and startup SHG Technologies. Hospital ED and CEO Umang Madhur said that they have come forward with this product in order to prevent blindness from the country.
