97 percent of the water on earth is sea water. A company called A-Dina has developed a device that uses that water to generate electricity. It uses enormous amount of sea water. By combining ocean water with magnesium, they generate electricity. For lights, can be used for charging. Half a liter of salt water generates enough electricity to light an electric lamp for 45 days. A-Dina recently took up a crowdfunding campaign. It is targeting to sell one lakh units of electricity in the new year. It has already received thousands of pre-orders. Own three patents. “Even now, billions of people on the planet do not have access to electricity. They are living in the dark,” says Nicholas Pinjon Karpoda, one of the founders of A-Dina.
